Apple Spice Beef Stew – Slow Cooker or Instant Pot

I realize that the idea of apple spice anything seems more like a fall comfort food…but sometimes, no matter the weather or season, apple spice fits the bill. Plus, to me, beef stew is always a good idea. Beef stew evokes childhood memories of meat and veggies simmering on the stove all day, as well as memories of Africa where beef stew must be eaten with chapatis.
